Donating Items

Transition Projects welcomes the donation of new or gently-used seasonal clothing for adults, hygiene products, linens and household goods.

If you have seasonal clothing or other goods to donate, please ensure all items are:

  • Clean (free of stains, tears, and pet hair), from a non-smoking household, appropriate for the current season, and ready-to-use by another person
  • Included on the list below of ITEMS WE ACCEPT

Please call ahead at 503.280.4662 to schedule a drop off time before donating or ordering large quantities (ex. 10+ trash bags) of items. We have limited storage space and will need to plan to have appropriate space and volunteer help available to process large donations. Your tax-deductible donation items can be dropped off at: 665 NW Hoyt Street, Portland, OR 97209

Pick-up Service

If you are unable to drop off your donations, we offer a Pick-Up Service available for $35. Please allow 7-14 days for pick-up, and note that this service may be unavailable during busy times of the year. For more information or to schedule a pick-up, please contact us at
